You must be a CCT member in good standing for at least 30 days before the AGM to serve on the Board of Directors or to vote.
The next Annual General Meeting is September 7th, 2027, at 7 pm, at the Stage Door, 11 11th Ave. S. Cranbrook.

What would you do if elected?
  • Actively participate in a Board Meeting once per month.

  • Prepare a monthly report if you hold a portfolio, or submit items of interest.

  • Participate in the business of Cranbrook Community Theatre Society, focusing on a multitude of aspects related to live theatre, and providing stewardship for the Studio/Stage Door Building.
What skill set(s) are we looking for?

To complement and enhance the Board, any one or combination of skills below is welcome.

  • Production/performance oversight experience.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Marketing skills.
  • Sponsorship and grant writing know-how.
  • Business management and/or administration skills.
  • Record keeping, Minute-taking skills, and archiving documents.
  • General building oversight skills.
  • Assisting with care for our membership and volunteers.
  • Skills with numbers: accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting.
  • Goal setting; strategic planning skills.
  • A general knowledge of any of: the Society’s Act, City regulations, heritage interests.
  • Community engagement skills​.

CCT aims to produce and present high-caliber theatrical works, engage the community in the dramatic arts, inspire and develop local talent, and emphasize the value of drama within the community.

Heritage Building Stewardship

CCT is committed to maintaining the Studio/Stage Door as a cultural hub, providing versatile rental spaces for various community events, and contributing to the arts culture of Cranbrook.
